A child of the bay, Rebecca Roubion’s distinct Creole roots are a product of her time spent in Mobile, New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Carol King and Eva Cassidy were anything but strangers growing up, and while she borrows from these soulful matriarchs of yore, there’s something fresh and enticing about her interpretation of folk-infused indie-pop. Her songs can be heard on TV shows like "Bones", "Pretty Little Liars, and "Jane the Virgin," and in 2016 she released her first LP "Sleepless Nights," an organic but modern pop project produced by Lincoln Parish, longtime guitarist of pop band Cage The Elephant.
